Winkeo-A FIDO2
Winkeo-A FIDO2 is a USB Type-A security key for a strong authentication on the web and the cloud. It is compatible with FIDO2 (CTAP 2.1) and FIDO U2F standards. As a result, it offers a very high level of security while remaining easy to use. It thus protects your access from “phishing” attacks or password theft.

The Winkeo-A FIDO2 security Key conforms to the FIDO2 and FIDO U2F specifications of the FIDO Alliance. The FIDO protocol relies on architectures based on asymmetric cryptography and electronic certificates. It consists of using a pair of private/public keys. The private key never leaves the Winkeo-A FIDO2 device.
The FIDO2 standard allows authentication without a password in complete security. You have just to insert the Winkeo-A FIDO2 key into your computer’s USB port, enter your PIN and press the button to authenticate yourself. Winkeo-A FIDO2 easily replaces your password. It is compatible with Windows 10 / 11 and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). It is also compatible with the FIDO U2F standard which allows double authentication to your online accounts: social networks, webmails, e-commerce sites, online banks, etc.
Moreover, the security key contains a smart card component certified Common Criteria EAL5+. The implementation of the FIDO standard as well as the integration of a highly secure smart card component thus guarantee a very high level of security.
The Winkeo-A security key was proven and recognized as reliable by ANSSI (the French National Cybersecurity Agency ) and received the Security visa in 2022 (Certificate ANSSI-CSPN-06/2022). In addition, NEOWAVE is a Microsoft partner for its passwordless authentication solutions (FIDO2).
