Winkeo-A FIDO U2F

The Winkeo-A FIDO U2F key conforms to the FIDO U2F specifications and provides a simple solution for online user authentication (web / cloud). Its use is simple, no driver is necessary (HID device, FIDO U2F standard). Security is also the strong point of this product. Each pair of private / public keys is stored locally inside the smart card. The private key never leaves the Winkeo Token, guaranteeing optimal security.

It is used as a second factor of authentication. The two-factor authentication process adds a layer of security to your online services and accounts. It uses two authentication factors: your login / password as the 1st factor and the Winkeo-A FIDO U2F physical security key as the 2nd factor. The step of the code sent by SMS to authenticate yourself is therefore replaced by that of inserting the security key into a USB port. No risk of being hacked, connection to your account is impossible without the security key.
